COME AND ADMIRE THE NATIVITY SCENES IN TREMEZZINA

An itinerary to vist the artistic nativities but before all the picturesque spots of Tremezzo. You can visit the nativities at the Tarocchiera at Parco Olivelli, at the park of the Parish church, in the hamlets of Balogno, Intignano, Rogaro, Viano and Volesio
 

In the church San Bartolemeo at Tremezzo in Via Statale , 3 you can visit a nativity scene made by the nativity scene work group of Tremezzo. The nativity is a reproduction of a lake’s hamlet, inspired by views of Tremezzina, of about a century ago, with fishermen, washerwomen and innkeepers in local costumes to make people feel the atmosphere of bygone days.
Open daily from 11 December till 15 January from 9.00 till 20.00

 

At Villa Balbianello during the following days  18th, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 30th, 31st December 1st, 6th, 7th, 8th January  from 11till 17.00. In the  Loggia of the villa  you will be able to visit a large 19th-century vernacular nativity scene of about 25 sqm, settled in an extremely faithful reproduction of the Villa.

 

At Mezzegra in the village Bonzanigo in Largo Valle at the Casa dei Presepi you can visit an extroordinary exhibition from 22 December till 8 January of antique nativities in paper
